Born in Belfast in 1980 to Frizell and Jean Matchett, and is the oldest of 3 siblings Sharon and Peter being the younger.
Went to Orangefield Primary School (www.orangefieldprimary.net), then Grosvenor Grammar School (www.grosvenorgrammarschool.org.uk) before Queens University(www.qub.ac.uk).
Went to Scotland September 2004 to do a Discipleship Training School(DTS) with Youth With a Mission(YWAM), moved to Scotland June 2005 to join YWAM full time.
Married Deborah 5th November 2006, moved to Aberdeen January 2007 to start YWAM Aberdeen. Became a dad on 28th September 2007!
